History of SAEM
South Asian Evangelical Mission is an indigenous & interdenominational organization raised by God in 1997 in India by Evg.Dr.Stanley Simon. After his Academic and fundamental theological studies he has started this mission with seven members those who are having a great vision for losing souls. In the very beginning itself God led them with a great aim to some north India states where there is no any Christian witness. God gave an explosive growth in every area of ministry. The S A E M is having a three fold objective,
- To take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the un evangelized areas in India and abroad, and to plant churches among these un reached people. The Goal is ‘A church among every people and gospel to every person’
- To challenge Indian and foreign Christians to realize their responsibility for the global evangelization and recognize their partnership with other Christians in the world to fulfill this task.
- To train our members to work in the field of social development to build up good society, nation and family.
The SAEM is actively involving in various types of ministries to fulfill its three fold objective. This includes personal evangelism, tract distribution and door to door evangelism, crusades , youth seminars, starting academic and technical training centers, social awareness programs, church plantation and different kind of social development activities. By the grace of God and dedicated work our team God gave a marvelous growth in the filed of ministry. At present 164 full time missionaries are working under this organization all over India with over 100 churches, three orphanages, Technical and Academic training centers. The result we see in every day mission life, makes us to move restless in this great commission.
